Submissions for 38th BWC Due Friday!

Of all the books out there, I really can’t think of any that focus on Africa – whether it’s situated there or it has an African theme.  For that reason, I can’t wait for Natasha’s bookworms carnival where she’s looking for novels about Africa or with an African theme (fiction or nonfiction).  Submissions for the 38th Bookworms Carnival are due this Friday to Natasha at Maw Books, so if you have anything, make sure you send Natasha a link.  To submit a review, simple email natasha at mawbooks dot com.

If you don’t have anything for this edition, what about the next two?

BBAW Remembers Dewey

If you haven’t heard yet, a massive amount of book bloggers are currently participating in Book Blogger Appreciation Week and today, they spent some time remembering Dewey and the contributions she made to the community.  For those of you who are new to the Bookworms Carnival, this was originally Dewey’s brainchild and she had managed this event beautifully.  Her shoes are extremely hard to fill and we are still trying to make this half the event it was under her.  If you haven’t already, you should head over and see what people have had to say.  Dewey made a lot of friends in this community and she’s being remembered by them today.

So Many Precious Books, So Little Time! has posted the 36th edition of the Bookworms Carnival and it’s a great collection of Historical Fiction.  Teddy received an amazing number of reviews and articles and she did a great job organizing them.  Seriously, you should see the fabulous job she did.  Not only are all the posts separated by country, but they are even broke out by area as well.  Regardless of what you’re into, I highly suspect everyone will go away with at least one book that’ll piqued their attention.
